Is it normal that my best friend thinks I'm a slut. I've only slept with two people but she has gone around the school telling everyone that she hates me because I'm a slut?? What is happening?

What probably happened is that you either slept with someone she liked, or someone she likes wants you and not her.

I'd recommend not talking to her anymore. When someone asks you about her claims, just say, "I dunno. Ask her, she seems to know more about it than I do."
I can't say it won't hurt but... eventually people will just leave you alone and consider that she's the one with the issues. And if they don't then they already wanted to think badly of you anyway and don't deserve your attention either.
It's pretty normal, since people just over-exaggerate what "slut" actually means. People just use the word slut all the time now, even when it's completely unnecessary :/
