Is it normal that the smell of peach makes me thirsty?

Whenever I smell anything flavored like peach, I feel as if I need to drink something right away. It usually happens whenever I smell peach flavored sparkling water, and it happened today when I ate peach oatmeal. It doesn't happen with other flavors of sparkling water, and it happened before I started drinking it, so it has nothing to do with the water.
