Is it normal that the show "toddlers & tiaras" disgusts me?
this television show is ridiculous. it seriously makes me feel nautious watching it. i watched it one time before i made any judgement. why on earth would any mother put her child in those tiny little outfits, SPRAY TAN, put tons of makeup on, fake fingernails, on a 2-3 year old?!?! some of these little girls are even younger than this too. some of these children seem to enjoy it slightly, but most of the time they are throwing tantrums. either because they dont want to perform like a poodle, or because theyre parents are too busy caring about superficial things to actually dicipline & love them. i cant even begin to imagine what these little girls are going to be like when they are adults. well, actually... theyre going to be fake, superficial, bratty, feel entitled, attention seeking... ect ect. on top of that, they are teacihing theyre young daughters that the world will judge them by their looks, not by what is important: ambition,smarts,compassion ect..... why not spend all that money and attention on something useful, such as education??!!?? the fathers are comepletly uninvolved and seemingly uncaring. i feel very sad for these little girls. and i feel no pity at all for the parents who, obviously have some serious self confidence issues. is it normal to feel this way?
