in the few relationships i've had, there comes the time for sex. but i have never been actually turned on by the thought of sex or the idea itself does not turn me on, and it happens a lot right before i'm about to have sex with my girlfriend, the two ways that i can get turned on easily is by tickling her or by her feet in which case i have a fetish for both of those. but i do not get turned on if i think about sex. is this normal?

    There are plenty of people, myself included, who are not turned on by sex. It may not be that normal but it certainly is not that abnormal as well. It's just something that usually is not discussed for fear of being mocked and ridiculed or being called "gay" Or at least that is how it is for a lot of men. It seems a lot of people think that if a man doesn't want to have sex that clearly means there is something terribly wrong with him, or it means he is gay.
