I'm short (and proud of it too), and I've only been in one relationship, where the girl was 2 inches taller than me. If I'm only 5'0", I can forsee some height differences in my future relationships where the girl could be up to a foot taller than me :/
Unfortunately most girls (in my experience) prefer guys the same height or taller than them. It's seems to be a natural inclination for many women. That being said, most guys are taller than most women, so it could just be the law of averages working out.
Height is only one aspect of appearance, and there are a lot of other factors that can contribute to your overall attractiveness that can dwarf (no pun intended) your size. If you like the way you look, then that confidence should show, and that can be a powerful quality in regards to romance.
In other words, don't worry about it :)
Height shouldn't get in the way of love.
I was friends with a guy in my college that was a tiny bit shorter then me, but I didn't care. He still was a cool guy. He had a nice looking face, so I wouldn't have payed much attention to his height. He wasn't that short anyway.
Height differences can be a pain in the ass. I'm 6"4 and my gf is just over 5 foot. I have to bend my back and neck to kiss her and pick her up when I hug her. I have to have her stand on something when I do her from behind standing up. And she always yells at me when I forget to put her car seat in the orig position. Or her side mirrors. I do like being able to pick her up and toss her around In the bedroom however. Couldn't do it as easily with someone closer to my stature. I'm sure u wouldn't want ur girl tossing u around the room though lol
One of my good friends is so short but at the moment he's still akward around girls so it doesn't matter to him now.
It's always nice to be kissing a girl on the lips, and having her talking dirty to you at the same time :-)
I am a tall girl and I have been put off by guys shorter than me, its nothing personal, just preference.
I could overlook this obviously if the rest was awesome.
I don't see anything wrong with the height difference..I'm pretty tall for a girl and I wouldn't want anyone to refuse to date me because I'm taller then they are. But I guess height difference would be weird to some people.
