Is it normal that the fact that she acts like this annoys me?

I used to have this friend that for various reasons I ended our friendship a couple years ago. Basically she treated me awfully. My whole life I've been a huge Star Wars fan, my whole family is, and I used to always tell her to see it but she would say it was "stupid" or waterer. One day I made her come over and we watched episode I, and after that she went home, updated her blog saying she was the biggest Star Wars fan ever and pretending to know everything about it. Now were not friends anymore but she still pretends to be the hugest fan and she got a star wars notebook to carry around. She probably has seen them all by now.. but it pisses me off so much. It kinda feels like she's steeling my identity or something because I'm kind of known to be a Star Wars nerd. Should I be getting this upset about this?

If you don't like her, why do you pay any attention to what she does? Maybe she really fell in love with the movies after you convinced her to give them a chance. There are a lot of Star Wars nerds in the world, and they aren't all "stealing your identity." More than one person can share a fandom even if they don't like each other.

On the other hand, I think it's really strange that anyone would become a huge Star Wars fan after seeing Episode I. The original Episode IV I can understand, but "The Phantom Menace?" Really? Lucas really lost it with Eps I, II and III.
