Is it normal that the fact of my boyfriend leaving is making me insane

My boyfriend is leaving for London in about a week. His parents are forcing him to
And he always told me that no matter what happens, I wont go, since March. He told me they cant shove me inot the aircraft so dont worry I will never leave you

And now all of a sudden hes leaving. He means the world to me, and I placed him before everyone and everyhthing else but I dont regret it one bit

But I dont know, I just feel so worthless. Like I placed him above everything and he takes sucha drastic decisoin so soon. Hes going for 3 years
And the problem is that because of him I lost all my other friends because all my time went to him. And I can make new freineds but that will take time and no matter what no one will ever replace him
So what do I do in that time period?

And my feeling for him wont just lessen suddenly

    I cant go with him, because im going to college here. Since he promised he would never leave I didnt apply anywhere else

    my bf went to new Zealand for one week and im sad but yours is going for 3 years u must be really sad hshs but why don't u just go with him Orr say ur pregnant and he can't leave!

      I cannot believe you said that! What a cruel and manipulative thing to do. A person needs to be with someone because its the right decision, not be 'forced' or blackmailed!

      I moved to be nearer my partner, it was a joint decision...but I was willing to make the sacrifice as I had more flexibility and he has a career where he is.

    I know how you feel. The girl I am madly in love with is moving in less than 10 days to a new city. She has no reason to comeback to this town and even though I've tried my hardest to show her how much I care she has no feelings of regret leaving everything and everyone behind. I am completely heartbroken and lost for words as I slowly get to see her walk out of my life, just like that :(
