Is it normal that the base in the music gives me heart palpitations?

My neighbors are loud and inconsiderate. It's that way at practically every apartment complex my income level can afford. They don't give two shits about anyone but themselves.

They blast their music out their windows because they're the only human beings on Earth. No one living here is ever sick or in need of sleep. No one here has children that are trying to sleep. They are literally the only human beings on Earth that matter. They are all their own God.

That said, my husband doesn't even notice their music. He says it becomes white noise to him. But the music that is heavy in bass makes my heart palpitate. I can't ignore it. It goes straight to my heart and it gives me a mini panic attack. I have to turn up the TV or wear head-phones. I told the Gods this but since they're Gods, my opinion doesn't matter. They are the only human beings that matter.

Am I the only person that bass music does this too?

Make a compilation CD of angry, moaning love noises and blast 24/7.

It could be the tone of the notes or the pattern in the beats. I've noticed that certain types of music can make me feel very bad.
