Is it normal that tea makes me wee!

I can drink most things and just need the toilet like most people, every few hours or so. Well certainly not excessively. But today I had 2 cups of tea, which I almost never drink, and have been to toilet 3 times in an hour and want to go again! WTF? Does anyone else get like this? It never happens with juice, alcohol, coke etc, only tea......

    tea is a natural deuretic, it does the same to me too, i dont drink tea within an hour of being in a position where i cant go for a wee. good for flushing the system though, im a tea belly.

    Tea is basically just flavoured water. Now some know how to make tea better then other but its still mostly water. Drinking a lot of water makes you pee. So drinking a lot of tea would make you pee.

    i drank some tea in the morning and by the second lesson at school i was absolutely bursting, never doing that again

    Hot drinks in general tend to make you have to pee.
