Is it normal that sweetener gives me a sore throat?

everytime i eat candy,gum,drinks etc. thats sugar-free it gives me the worst sore throat! IIN?

    You could be having an allergic reaction to something in the artificial sweetener. Get yourself to the doctors and get it checked out.

    Yeah I get that too. Especially if I've had alot of the stuff. Always just thought it was something in the sobitol. I usually take it as a sign I've had too much. Get it worse when chew alot of gum. So in answer normal but probably not good for you.
