Is it normal that sometimes i want to laugh?

Ok I was a bit misleading with the title but is it normal that sometimes out of no where you feel a sudden horrifying fantasy come onto you like a perverted dream that you can't get out of your head? What I mean by this is do you ever want to cut you stomach open with a knife and show your friends or family just to see their reactions...and then laugh? I know this'll bring about quite the comments on my mental sanity but don't I'm far from a murderer if anything I'm quite the nice guy considering I'm a senior member of my SADD chapter and other than that I'm someone who likes to push the limits of things and one of those is people's reactions so all I ask is for everyone to speak freely about this.

It's normal to have a need to attract attention to oneself and to like being able to elicit reactions from people - if you're a teenager or younger. After that age, there might be something less normal going on in your head.

I think other commentors are misinterpreting what you're saying. It doesn't seem like you want to shock people for attention, but that you having passing thoughts of how certain horrible things you would do might be funny. Furthermore, you're worried enough about these thoughts to come here to ask about them.

It is normal to have thoughts like this pass by, but usually unheeded and forgotten within seconds. It's not normal, per se, to obsess over them and hold onto the thoughts for longer than it takes to brush them off and forget them.

This sounds like OCD to me and the only thing needed to make me more sure is if you told me that you did things to keep yourself distracted from those thoughts.

At any rate, it may be in your best interest to seek advice from a professional. No, I don't think these thoughts make you a bad person or dangerous. However, this may mean that you have some serious problems with anxiety or OCD.

It is extremely childish to try to seek attention by shocking people by doing horrific things. It is much more adult to seek attention by doing good deeds and helping the less fortunate. However, a normal healthy adult would not require recognition for doing good deeds or helping others, either.
