Is it normal that sometimes i feel a very short and strong headache?

Sometimes (once a month or less) I get a very short and strong pain in the back of my head. It feels like my brain hurts (or something else inside my skull) but then it's over in a few seconds. Every time I get a headache like that I'm not doing something in particular.

Better go get that checked out. It could be the begining of something serious.

I would ask a doctor about that. It sounds iffy.

I'm going to weigh in that it is not normal - it reminds me of two things,

    1) When I have a fever

    2) Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb.
This song reminds me of said fever and it captures the feeling of that.
    LYRICS
There is no pain you are receding
A distant ship smoke on the horizon.
You are only coming through in waves.
Your lips move but I can't hear what you're saying.
    When I was a child I had a fever
My hands felt just like two balloons.
Now I've got that feeling once again
I can't explain you would not understand
This is not how I am.
    I have become comfortably numb.

    Right?

    I'd get it checked.

    :D

Same here. No idea if it's normal though.
