Is it normal that sometimes i don't think the world is real?

Not that often but I still wonder what it is.

Anyway

Sometimes when I'm playing with a friend or something fun or just doing whatever, sometimes I feel like the world isn't real... Like I'm in some sort of a dizzy motion although I'm not looking up, down, left and right. I just feel that I'm not controlling me. It's like I'm spectating someone on COD (for all you COD fans out there, I made it so you could understand more better).

It's very weird...

I have schizophrenia and this is a huge part of it for me, it's called psychosis. You feel detached from reality and like someone has complete control over your body. Definitely NOT saying you're mentally ill, but just that it's natural.

I do know what this is, i suffered from it really badly for 4 years and still do:

    Derealization and depersonalization.

They symptoms of psychiatric illnesses both severe and moderate, permanent and transient. Whatever you do, don't take these thoughts seriously, it's just your brain trying to make sense of abnormal processes going on in the brain. This doesn't mean you're abnormal yourself, though, just the processes aren't commonly apparent in the majority of people.

I believe it is the byproduct of a psychological defense mechanism that cuts off emotions in response to psychological stress, your thoughts can also be cut off. The lack of these emotions makes your subconscious try to figure out why these emotions aren't coming from your environment and brain/bodily actions; it's response and verdict to your conscious mind is, "this isn't real. Am I real?".

Can also be caused by depression, altering emotional perception of the environment towards a spooky, Steven King esque, negative.

Remove life stressors, see a psych.

I feel like I'm in GTA or Super Mario right now and my brain feels like mush.

I remember I read up on something that said there is an actual mental disorder where people think they're living in a matrix. Some people are completly convinced that everything around them is fake. I can't think of what it's called again but try to google it maybe and check it out.
