Is it normal that sometimes after i stretch, i sort of blackout?

Sometimes after I stretch, my vision is just blackness and I can't see anything. I get really dizzy, and I begin to fall. I can try to stop myself, but my body moves without me telling it to do so and I have very little control over my body. Everything goes back to normal after a couple of seconds. IIN?

    Orthostatic hypotension.

"Orthostatic hypotension, known colloquially as head rush or dizzy spell, is a form of hypotension in which a person's blood pressure suddenly falls when standing up or stretching."

    Yeah it's normal.

This, happens all the time when I stand up too quickly. You can bring yourself back to normal by bending over and touching your toes, so that your blood flows back into your head.

Go see your doctor because it might indicate some underlying health issue. Better to check it out before it checks you out.

This happens to me too. I always thought that it was because of my muscular issues. However, I noticed that the effect is lessened if I'm hydrated adequately, have had my energy drink and my Spirutein. I just took a stretch and the only thing I experienced was pain.

Yes! :D I AM NOT ALONE :) this always happened to me several times when I stretched or stand up after I had been sitting for a long while. Paranoid as I am, I even once thought it was a brain disease symptom. But anyway you are not alone!
