Is it normal that socks make me claustrophobic?

Whenever I wear socks, it feels like I can't fully stretch out my toes and it makes me feel rather uncomfortable. I usually take advantage of sandal season as long as possible because I hate socks so much. It feels like my toes are being stuck together and are trapped/hostage. Is this normal?

I never wear socks unless I'm wearing trainers or boots. I can't bear to wear them in the house as I feel my toes are cramped too.

I get like this at night. Socks are fine for the day but as soon as evening comes and I chill, the socks come off!

    Maybe get bigger/looser fitting socks?

You're not alone. I get this with tight shoes. Where your toes are clamped so tightly that you know it's impossible to separate them until the shoes come off. Sometimes it even becomes like a minor panic.
