Is it normal that so many sounds make my ears hurt?

I will list them:
mechanical pencils
wood scrapping on concrete
certain people whistling
Styrofoam rubbing against anything
chairs being pushed
certain people laughing
bells at the school i work at
fire alarms at said school.
and a few more that don't come to mind right now.
i actually double over and grasp my ears, if caught off guard. i try not to do so in front of students, as some seem worried about me. some have actually figured out what makes my ears hurt and attempt to manipulate me with such knowledge. each sound gives me a resonating headache in my back, lower skull. thanks in advance.

Some people are more sensitive than others. Wear earbuds--the foam kind that goes in your ears. You don't have to have any music playing. Wearing earplugs might confuse people, but earphones are unremarkable.
