Is it normal that sitting on public buses' seats makes me feel dirty?

I live in a lower to average income area and when you look around the people around you on the bus don't seem to be all that clean.

Whenever I consider that the person who sat in the spot before I did may have been one of them, I get totally grossed out.

Once I go home I change my pants right away because if I don't I feel dirty. IIN?

    ^hope u were joking

Anyway, public transportation is always gross. Totally normal. People in general are gross. I don't really know how being poor leads to being really gross/dirty, but I guess I have noticed that often it does seem to go hand in hand obviously u prove this to be untrue o u live in this area and are worried about bus seats. Maybe you can bring a towel or something with you, it would look strange and u may get dirty looks, but it must be better than what ur sitting on.

if it's a plastic seat, I don't mind. But if it's one of those padded cloth seats, I totally know what you mean. After all, someone could've had a "gas problem" in the seat....or even molecules of B.O. that could have been absorbed into the fibers of the material...
Why is it that there's inevitably someone on the bus with extremely bad B.O.? All this really makes me hate public transport.

  • Once I witnessed a lazy hog of a woman change her screeching failed abortion on a bare bus bench (there was a bathroom on this bus, cunt was just lazy) and I'm certain that she wasn't careful about keeping poo off the seat. She then proceeded to flop her disgusting boob out and start openly breastfeeding without covering up. Is it me or are only the stupidest people breeding nowadays? I have since refused to ride public transport again.

I've seen some shocking things happen on buses. All kinds of illness, bodily fluid, stench, or just plain weirdness.

That's why I still get them.

I make over $100,000 a year and ride the train and bus for convenience and safety, and you're totally right about the public. I always check the seat before I sit and touch as few surfaces as possible. I also wash my hand immediately when I get to work and when I get home.

You, in reality, are nastier than any of them.

ive had the pleasure of catching a night bus recently and thankfully its for a couple of hours because when I get on its horrible and sweaty and always to hot. There is so much steam it covers most of the front window. The bloody drivers the only person with a window and from what ive seen they open it about half an inch just to keep some visibility. The bus goes all through the night from the top of the uk to the bottom and I dont know who gets it all the way, they must be extremely tolerant.
