Is it normal that shows on tlc annoy me?

My mom watches TLC a pretty good bit. Some of their stuff is okay, but a lot of its shows just plain get on my nerves. "Toddlers and Tiaras" deals with parents who want to show off their two- and three- year-olds painted up like Barbie dolls, "Hoarders" deals with trashy, filthy people who store up a bunch of junk they don't even need and then boohoo about it later, and "19 Kids and Counting"...omg, don't even get me started on that one. Come on...who in their right mind would want that many children? Some of the "children" in that show are full grown adults and the parents are still having babies! I like some TLC programs okay, like "Cake Boss," some of their medical programs, maybe "Say Yes TO The Dress," but most of their stuff is just annoying in my opinion. Is this normal?

    yeah they suck now. All their programming is about making babies and various aspects of a superficial idiotic society.

    I don't know that show but maybe your mom is just bored or there's nothing else on tv. Try renting movie and suggest watching them with her

    They're awful. TLC has very little to do with learning anymore. Sad, but that crap sells.

    I don't think they should pay freaks and bad parents to be on TV - like the Toddlers and Tiaras parents. It's disgusting. TLC has the shittiest shows.

    Yes, I think your are normal for thinking they are annoying.

    Sometimes I like to smoke a doobie then watch shows like that. The people on those show are so freakin' weird and their outlook on life is so bizarre - it's like watching the Animal Kingdom of freaks.
