I went to a party and tried talking to a girl and after 10 seconds she made an excuse to get away from me. Is it normal for a girl to do this and secondly, is it normal for a girl to not be honest about not being interested in you?

    ugh. i feel that way around a guy im interested in, but i just can't seem to talk to him because my face turns red. :(

    This could've been so many things: she could've thought she would be judged seen with you, she may not like you and just needed an excuse to get out the conversation, she could've been bored or tired, she could've needed to leave (a girl thing, aha)..
    Don't think too much of it. Try once again, then move on.

      Don't try once again, move on immediatly. Don't waste your time. If you screwed up, you've screwed up. Act like a man and live with it. And try not to screw up with the next girl you meet.

      It's not that she's being dishonest. It IS rude if she just leaves without saying anything, but it's normal. She might not have felt like being hit on because she had a bad day, a boyfriend, etc...
      there are thousands of reasons why a girl might do this, don't flake over it.
