Is it normal that when I kiss my girlfriend in public, she keeps her eyes open? I've confronted her about this and she said It's because she's worried what others think. She's 32 and has three kids, while I'm 20, no kids. I can understand a little I guess, I tell her not to care what others think. Another thing is that when I said I wanted to tag her in a relationship on Facebook, she said she didn't want to because of what others might think. I feel like I'm not good enough for her already, it dosnt help when she says stuff like this. Last time I saw her in the club I work in, some guy was touching her waist at the bar! I told him to get away from my girl friend ( not that nicely ) and she didn't realy care that he was doing it.

I guess what I realy want to know is, is it normal that my girl friend is embarrassed to be with me?

      my moms with a 31yearold and she is 42 i think as long as they r both over 18 who cares bout age... when i was 21 i was with a 48 yearold.... but left him for a 29yearold.. he didnt treat me right!... now my fiance is 30 and i love him to death ... im sorry she did thst to u... u deserve better.... hugs...

    The guy at the bar does require some questioning, but I wouldn't write him off as just a friend. A lot of guys I know would be comfortable wrapping an arm around me, I'd be fine, thru know I've a boyfriend, he would mind but he'd be confident enough to confront me if he had doubts or questions. I respect him, he respects me.
    I imagine the eyes open thing is simply a comfort thing, probably something she's always done.

    You two should talk this out and make sure you know each others comfort levels.

    Same thing happened to me, I was 23 and she 28... She loved me but was really ashamed of being with me... All I can tell is that you deserve better... Thats is no a healthy relationship.
