Is it normal that she is accusing me of rape?

So I was at a party with a bunch of friends and some of their friends that I didn't know and I met this girl there. I've known her for a few years and we were acquainted but didn't have much of a friendship. We got drunk and she told me that she had been wanting me to ask her out for years and thought that I was good looking so we went into my buddy's room and had ourselves a great time.

We caught rides home with our friends and word got around that she and I slept together. We're both consenting adults, by the way so it's not a big deal to me but now she is saying that I raped her! She told her friends that I got her drunk and took advantage of her! I would never have sex with a woman against her will, I used protection and I even fucking offered to take her out the next day!

I've heard of this happening in the news and from friends though. This is the first time I have had sex with at a party. Is it normal for a woman to do this after having sex at a party? Does anyone else consider it rape?

    Calm down, don't worry about it until/unless she goes to the police. They will tear her story to pieces and figure out if she's lying.

    Does she have a boyfriend? If so, she may be using the rape story to cover her ass because she cheated. That's a common reason to lie about rape.

    As long as she never said 'no' or 'stop'....or wasn't drugged or PASSED OUT...then no, it's not rape.

    I'd be willing to bet she either has a boyfriend and is covering her ass, or she regretted it and is maybe embarrassed and using rape as a cover.

    If she goes to the cops, they will tear her apart, they are pretty good at this. Is there witnesses that can confirm she was not passed out, or wasn't upset afterwards, etc?

    You may have your reputation to worry about but again just get witnesses and mention the boyfriend theory (if she has one).

    You could get really sneaky and say that one of your friends walked in and saw what was going on and he saw it as a normal consenting act.

    Unless you really did rape her....then that's fucked up and you deserve whatever you get.

      It went down like this. We both got drunk, we were talking and having a good time in the living room with some guys watching the game. I got up to make another drink and she followed me into the kitchen area and leaned over my shoulder and told me all of this. We kind of started making out and we went into my buddy's room, I know where he keeps his condoms and by the time I had the thing on she was already naked and telling me to fuck her hard.

      We finished, rejoined the party, got a ride with some of the designated drivers (a pregnant girl and a guy that had work in the morning, both were very good friends of mine) and I called her the next day and invited her out and she said she was busy. Now all of this.

      I definitely have witnesses, they are all backing me up and even her friends are calling her bullshit. They know that I am not the type of guy to take advantage of a girl.

      But you answered my question as to why she would do it, she is engaged and I am hearing that she might be pregnant. I'm hoping that that is not true because she shouldn't have been drinking so much if she was. I think I might have stepped into a pile of someone else's shit here.

        Ah HA!! So yes, it sounds like the classic rape accusation to cover her ass so as not to get in trouble with the boyfriend. I wouldn't worry too much, since you have witnesses and maybe you should even get everyone together and tell the boyfriend what happened, he deserves to know she's a cheating whore who drinks while pregnant!!

        If she does go to the cops, sounds like you have good witnesses and a very good reason as to why she'd lie and the cops will rip apart her story, trust me the cops are harsh on rape accusations to weed out false accusations.

    When I was eighteen, my parents went on vacation and asked me to house-sit. I had a small group of my friends over so that we could "party" together. Half of us got pretty drunk, but one drank so much that he was barfing all night. I was worried about him (alcohol poisoning) and I was worried that I'd have to take him to the hospital. Everyone else crashed on the chesterfields, but I hauled my friend's drunk ass up to my room and made him sleep on the floor with a bucket and a towel for a blanket. I slept in my bed, but would wake up and check on him every hour to make sure he wasn't dead or in a position where he'd aspirate his puke.

    He ended up being fine, but a few days later, I heard from some of our friends that he'd been telling people that I tried to rape him. I was furious that he was spreading that rumor so I confronted him. He said that he was just joking around and that he didn't think people would take it seriously. What a dickhead!

    I don't consider it rape. She just can't keep her legs close and regret it. Then you were drunk too

    Generally speaking, rape does not occur because someone said no to having sex. Legally, it is considered rape if the other party didn't say yes. With that being said, it's never a good idea to have a one-night stand when drinking is involved...for this very reason. People don't have to resist, they just don't have to consent.
