Is it normal that sex doesn't turn me on?

So I'm an 18 year old virgin, and ever since I started going through puberty the thought of sex just could never really turn me on that much. Other sexual acts, like foreplay and what not, have always been much more of a turn on for me, but I've never had much of a desire to engage in regular intercourse, nor do I really have any set plans to. I mean I would have sex in a romantic way for my partner and I'm sure I'd be fine with it and enjoy it, but otherwise I'm more or less indifferent to the thought of it.

Because you have no idea what sex is even like yet.

The point isn't that I don't know what it's like, It's that I don't have any interest in finding out what it's like. But you may be right, perhaps I'll feel differently once I experience intercourse first hand.

Some people are sexual others are not. Some are more sexual than others. I wouldn't sweat it. I, myself, am not into sex either. You said you could see yourself having sex with someone you love, so maybe one day you might find someone you enjoy doing it with, and maybe not. Again, not everyone is sexual. Not everyone has to be sexual. And I certainly don't encourage you go out and have sex with someone just to see if you like it if that makes you uncomfortable. Just live life, enjoy it, and you may find someone you enjoy spending it with whether you are sexual or not. :)

I was just like you until later on. Sometimes you don't get sexual curiosity or tensions until you're a bit more grown, it happens. It's either that or you're asexual which I doubt.

But that's the weird part, I get aroused and what not and have enjoyed sexual experiences with girls in the past, it's just that I'm only really turned on by non penetrative acts like oral sex or whatever. So I'm definitely not asexual, just that actual intercourse doesn't at all interest me lol. I'm sure I'll grow out of it once I'm older but whatever, everyone experiences sexuality differently
