Throughout the past couple of years, many people have told me that everyone hated me. This once happened when I was 13, and it happened again when I was 15 and when I was 16. In total, about 4 or 5 people have told me everyone hates me. Is this common?
I can't imagine any good reason for telling someone that everyone hates them. I can only see bad reasons for doing it. If I was concerned about someone's behaviour, I'd try to make them aware of how their behaviour is perceived. I'd certainly never tell them that everyone hates them.
My guess is that people saying this are doing it to try and hurt you, rather than it actually being the truth.
Yeah it is. But if someone hates you there's a reason, if everyone hates you it's usually jealousy of some sort.

If you are a back-stabber and gossip, full of hatred for others then people probably do hate you. But if you are relatively inconsequential then you should be flattered that people even notice you and feel strong enough about you to voice their jealousy.
Personally, I've never been told I've been hated but then I tend to like everyone until they do me a bad turn.
I don't really buy'they're just jealous'. It sounds nice but more often than not people will have a valid reason for not liking someone else due to their perception of them. It may be jealously if its a few people but everyone, well then you might have to start thinking maybe it might be me...
People probably hate you then. I don't mean to sound harsh, but i've never once been told everyone hates me. It's possible your personality isn't as great as you think it is. Maybe take some time to soul search and see what sort of actions you might be doing that cause people to dislike you? Cause from what I read, the people who told you that everyone hates you, might have been one of many who think that, except they slipped up and said something noone else had the guts to say
wipe the lot and start again only be friends with nice people, one backstab and its over
Kids are assholes. Plain and simple. I heard it quite a bit about myself when I was younger.
