Is it normal that really simple things entertain me?

Everyone always says "its the simple things in life that matter" or "make you happier" but I think they're bullsh*t because the majority of people like to do something and the simple things always bore them, its so annoying how people are so fake. When it comes to me though, yes the simple things do make me happy and I wish it was like this for everyone else too truly because then I wouldn't feel as if Im boring to them. Right now, I believe I look like the boring one in my dorm but honestly, Im doing what I did at home that made me happy and thats watch my shows, write blogs all day, on my phone texting or insta-graming, or listening to music. Sometimes ill get the desire to want to party or do something! but then I feel like its too much. For example right now its night time and I want to go down to the pool, Id be down to go down right now but I know if i mention it to my roommates theyll be like wth?
I am just a really mellow person but some people might take it as boring and yeah it does bum me out because then I feel like what I enjoy isn't good enough. I can easily just go to the movies, go to the beach and sit and watch the waves, or chill at home and watch my shows or games. I have a bf who I am so thankful for because he is like me; he enjoys simple things. I don't have to be loud and obnoxious like girls usually are to have fun. Im fine laying down but like I said they look at it as boring and thats annoying and just immature of them.
