Is it normal that random people talk to me on the street?

There's this homeless guy who is really nice and funny always comes and talks to me about life, there was this elderly man walking up a hill and he talked to me and so I helped him take his bags up, there was this other guy who talked to me and my gf randomly about our home town, and loads of middle aged women talk to me randomly too! Is it normal?

    Normal. Randomn people talk to me as well. They always talk about my purple dyed hair color. It gets pretty annoying talking about hair care all the time.

    I wouldn't get too excited about a homeless guy talking to you, he's gotta network!! And most old people would just as soon talk to a stump, so again, nothing to get excited over. Do the people you talk to always end up asking you for something, like a directions, a cigarette or change? Or maybe they're just very lonely people....Maybe you just look like a sucker....I'm not being mean, trust me....I'm just posing the theory....

    Yes, because unlike the majority of users here, people in general are friendly and trusting. Sometimes older teens that are on their own are more approachable than another adult, especially females.

      I want to clarify that I think the users here are nice and friendly, but most come across as possible introverts and might not seem as approachable in the real world as they do here. That's all.

    Maybe you just seem like a very approachable person, and you seem happy about it, so I am happy for you. This is normal, for nice people like you. Probably not the population as a whole.

    You are probably one of those ppl who others feel drawn to . Some of it is your facial expression and body language but there is usually a sense of warmth and openness that ppl can pick up on too.

    It's normal. Lots of random people come talk to me as well. It's a bit weird sometimes, and even weirder the things they tell you.

    Maybe you just look like a nice person to talk to. There was a homeless Guy who used to talk to me a lot. He always had his guitar with him and he gave me a bunch of his poetry and songs. He was cool but I haven't seen him in months :( I hope he's OK. Other people do it too. Just chit chat. Its cool with me
