Is it normal that people often annoy me because of these issues?

Nobody can mind their own business and leave me alone. Actually, nobody can mind their own business at all. Society is becoming more and more like high school every day. All people care about is the media. People treat other people like subhuman scum for liking a musician or franchise deemed socially unacceptable. All that is is high school bullshit and I'm fucking sick of it. It's all a worthless distraction. Listen/read/watch whatever you want.

People think I should find a husband and have a bunch of babies. I don't hate children, but I'm really not a maternal person. Frankly, I'm not going to take on a responsibility I don't want because people think I should. If I did, that would be doing the child a disservice.

I have 2 friends other than my family and I only see them once a week. I don't want or need any more, but my stupid alcoholic brother keeps trying to get me to go to parties. I hate children's tv producers because they imply you aren't human if you aren't a social butterfly. It's nothing but propaganda.

The reason politics is so bad in my opinion, is because an election is nothing more than a popularity contest. The best liars and the most extroverted people win.

If people aren't hurting themselves or others, they should be allowed to live as they want, dress as they want, talk how they want and be as unsophisticated as they want. Not being able to get a job because of these things falls under hurting themselves. Most of the "rednecks" that I know are actually pretty good people.

I'm beginning to be strongly annoyed with people not from my general area (Appalachia) because of how arrogant and judgemental they are. My grandmother was once asked where the outhouse was. I was in one of the tourist shops looking for a Christmas present for my neice and these prissy little cunts started talking slooow at me and asked if they could take a picture after I told them I was a local. People on YouTube on a video with people who have southern accents said that they shouldn't "be allowed to breed" (read: they should have their ovaries cauterized in a risky, invasive procedure, if they are female or be neutered if they are male) because of the way they talk. Proto-nazis like that make me sick.

is it normal to feel this way?

    I totally agree with you. not to sound like the stupid tourist but I must admit it caught my attention that you're from appalachia just because of what i've heard about it, its seems like an interesting place. but I wouldn't act like people there are some of the sites. and i know the southern accent does have a stereotype attached to it, but of course there are always exceptions. the people like you mentioned bother me too. They typically call themselves ''liberals'' which is really hypocritical considering they are supposedly open-minded yet they find it ok to talk shit about southerners and christians because of what stereotypically they are like, before getting to know them individually.
    Anyway, I am an introvert too, and extroverts tend to bug me for most of the reasons you put. it's always a popularity contest, and emotion wins over facts.

    Of course it's normal. That's pretty annoying indeed. In particular, I really dislike it how people are made to feel ashamed to like something so trivial. Like, a certain band or a certain film. Jokes are fine, but some people go completely over the top. It's ridiculous. I think people like that really need to sort their priorities out. I think there are more important things which they could put all that energy into. Also, the idea of feeling ashamed for listening to a certain band is beyond a joke. Especially when people don't get ashamed at things which they should feel ashamed about. Like, I don't know, bullying someone for their taste in music.:P That's pretty shameful, in my opinion.
