Is it normal that people love their dogs more than their own children

These days Dogs are treated like Kings and Queens of story books. While peoples own children are treated like step children.

I've never seen a parent with a dog do this.

I have seen non parents do it. But seeing as they don't have kids, it's not really much of an issue, is it?

My neighbor's dog sleeps on a cold concrete porch so I gave her a pet bed my cats didn't like. Then after a day or so because she is a puppy she pulled all the stuffing out and strewed it all over the sidewalk. I guess she will be cold again tonight.

These idiots follow their dogs around picking up their shit and being happy about it. They buy special food and even make them an extra plate at dinner. The dogs turn into total assholes because of it.

I used to know a guy who loved his dog more than his wife and kids, but I totally understood him; his kids were little shits that tried to torture the dog and never did a damn thing he told them, and his wife used to bash him on Facebook in-between fucking other guys (he was aware of this).

I treat my cats better than I treat most people.

    I doubt that very much.

I know people who are like this. They shouldn't have had kids.

I love my kid but pets can't talk back so it's definitely a plus.

My sister's poodle is s little angel, but sometimes he ignores people. My cat on the other hand stays on top of things.
