Is it normal that opposites really attract?

I am a smart, hardworking and industrious woman. I fell in love with a man who is not smart, bad (not so bad), and little lazy but he is a varsity in basketball. He is ugly. When I still do not like him, for me he is very ugly..But not anymore. The reason why I easily fell in love with him because our classmates tease us always like for example, that I am his inspiration.. I wanted to forget him, but it is so hard for me. Please help me:((

Lol ur dating someone because of peer pressure? And u seem to know it. U should probably break it off if u don't have any genuine feelings for him. Ur leading him on. And telling urself its because u inspire him isn't doing either of u any favors.

I've also had a moment of opposites attract. My situation was pretty much yours (except he was REALLY cute) i think it's curiosity at first. We see this person so different from ourselves, it kinda doesn't make sense to us. So we want to learn about them and it's interesting. But for me once i had my taste of opposite that was enough. We didn't last and now I'm not attracted to opposites.

It's hard to forget because feelings don't disappear in a day. Give it time.

It's very sweet that you fell in love with him even though you described him like that lol. But are you sure that you're really in love with him? How I see it, it's as if you just got used to the constant teasing so now you're thinking that you like him.

In a twisted way, it's sweet that you love this lazy, stupid, ugly person. Who cares if it's normal, if you like him go for it, at least you won't have to worry about other women getting on your man.
