Is it normal that only nerdy or ugly guys like me?

This happens to me all the time, I don't usually have a really attractive guy that's into me like I want, mostly just ugly and nerdy guys(two that like me at the moment)Btw im not a nerd or ugly, people tell me all the time that im attractive, and i know i am. So is this just a coincidence, or not?

If you were really that attractive then handsome guys would be into you. Sorry for the harsh post but as a nerd I feel insulted.

perhaps you should consider going with the "ugly" or "nerdy" guys.

most likely they may actually treat you better.

looks mean nothing really... what's underneath is what counts more. an "attractive" person can still be ugly if they're horrible

Sometime it only takes a few words to make someone beautiful. A blind could see that you are! Love to you my BEAUTIFUL sister! Namaste

Are you especially nice to nerdy guys? Nerdy guys are not used to that from attractive girls, so they might misread you. It seems horrible, but if you want them to go away you'd need to stop being nice to them. If you are smart, nerdy guys like that as well.

  • and I'm positive some guy out there that you are interested in thinks of you as just as ugly and nerdy as you do to these two people. karma's a bitch.

Lower your superficial standards some? But that is easier said than done though...

You're probably just not hot. Everyone's friends tell them that they're attractive, and no-one thinks they're ugly. If you were attractive you'd get at least half decent guys once in a while. Sorry.

I'm a girl, and even I feel bad for these guys that you think are "nerdy" or ugly. Tell them how you really feel and I bet you they won't like you anymore.

Seriously, it shouldn't matter that a guy isn't hot enough or doesn't meet your standards physically. He may be the one who would treat you the best, yet you're going to over look him simply because of genetics or because he's too smart.

    Yup, that makes sense.

What is this? Are you like a princess or something who automatically gets the guy of her dreams?

Either date a nice nerdy guy or stay single forever. The nerdy ones will treat you really well and it is likely they will change as they get older and become more "normal".

... LOL. Oh let me guess. You're waiting for Prince Tall, Dark and Handsome to fall head over heels for you? Dream on - from your attitude, even I want to flee. If you're truly nice like what a few of the above posters suggested, then I doubt. People from my state that're nice don't judge others based on physical appearances.

Some girls get told they're attractive because those people are either: a. Stretching truths; b. Being polite; c. Girls who empathize.

If a good looking dude tells you you're attractive, why isn't he asking you out?

Forgive me for being harsh, miss. I don't hold back. I used to be a blemish-faced, braces-wearing, matched with the infamous big round glasses. I asked a more-or-less cute looking chic out before, turned me down with a reason like yours. Guess who was trying to get in my pants 3 years later? I hope you won't go through the same thing like her - because I ripped her rep as payback.

Intelligent, kind, loving, and generous people ARE GORGEOUS! Unlike attractive gorgeous is an inside job. When you SEE THAT you will have everything your heart desires! The eyes are very inconsistent and easy fooled. REAL beauty has nothing to do with appearance. Close your eyes when your looking for your prince. Learn to SEE with your heart!

Perhaps one of the most shallow stories I've ever read on this website. Anyone ever tell you that being narcissistic and shallow is ugly? What you look like on the outside and how you act on the inside are what make you attractive or unattractive. If a nice guy genuinely likes you, despite how vain and shallow you are, you should grab him and never let go.

I have the same problem! I think Dom180 has hit the nail on the head... Be friendly of course, but get to know the cute ones more. Don't be shy because they are handsome... This is my problem and it ruins everything :(
