Is it normal that only i attend church by myself?

Out of my family I'm the only one who goes to church on Sunday. By myself. My parents, brothers and sisters don't believe in anything. I actually converted on my own when I was about 16 years old.

The church community is great and very welcoming...but I just wish my family was there with me to share it. Plus most of the congregation is fairly older.

Am I normal?

Each of us chooses our own spiritual path. It is good that you found yours but your family must find their own. You can offer but don't make it your purpose to "save" them by "convincing" them to come to church with you. Just focus on your own spirituality and relationship with God.

When I turned 18 I realized I was an atheist. Although my family is very religious... so in a way... we're in the same boat.

Everyone can do their own thing when it comes to religion. I myself when I turned 18, decieded to not attend church. I went to a private grade school and church all growing up. Although, I still consider myself a christian, I needed a break from organized religion. My family wasn't happy about it, but everyone has their own feelings toward religion and that's why we are in america. To each his own! Like penpal said, focus on yourself. Offer for them to come, but it's ok if you go alone. You may make friends that become your "christian family. :)
