Kinda hits on me...
I'm a 20 year old guy(straight),
He's a 21 year old guy(straight according to him)
We've been friends since I was about 13-14 years old.
My friend has developed some strange habits over the last few years...
So any time the guy calls me about anything, he ends the conversation with "I love you"...(I never say it back but he keeps doing it!) lol
He's also gotten into the habit of smacking my ass after we end a face to face conversation.
Those are just to name a couple, but you get the idea XD
I never really thought it wasen't a joke until my girlfriend came forward and told me it made her uncomfortable and that she thinks that he's attracted to me.
So tell me people of IIN, is this harmless hetero affection, or is this going to lead to an inevitable bro-rape attempt(Failed attempt I hope...)

    One of my friends recently started sayin he loves me when I leave after chillin wit him...we've beenn friends since about 8 years of age and im 21 now...he's done two things which were gay in 13 years...he smacked my butt one time when i was 14 (not too serious) but then he also flashed me (i still cant forget)..i dont think hes gay becuz we have smashed girls together b4 but i guess u never know...

    Very few straight guys will ever tell another male friend they love them. At the very least, he cares about you and isn't afraid to show it (which isn't a bad thing, it's just unusual in society. Gotta love stereotypes). He could be joking and is just comfortable in his sexuality, or he may care about you as more than just a friend.

    If he's really a friend to you he's not gonna "bro-rape" you, even if he does feel attracted. Approach the subject gently if you really want to know, but you should decide in advance whether or not you can accept him if he does feel attracted to you.

    Try to start a conversation about gays and see how he acts. If you get homophobic answers, he's hiding something.
