Depends who you ask. People have different opinions!
Some people will say that it's super important that Obama was reelected to move the country forward. Some people say that it's super bad that Obama was reelected because he's going to make America socialist and ruin the economy. And then people like you will say that it really doesn't make a big difference whether a democrat or republican is the president for 4 years and that day to day life will be pretty much the same, at least for most people, no matter what.
It's normal to me. I didn't vote because I didn't care who took office. I don't give a crap about politics.
My family is Iranian and so if a republican is in the white house their chances of survival decrease
I guess it depends. For me it was kind of important for Obama to be in office, because of his support for student health insurance and women's reproductive rights, but depending on your situation in life it really doesn't make a lick of difference who the president is.
I do feel it's good to take an interest in what your country is doing but it's surely not a requirement, people are entitled to do or think whatever they want imo as long as it's not hurting someone else.
Everyone hated on bush, but Obama kept most of his policies.
They both suck.
yeah i do and then don't care at times who is in office i would like to see food prices go down and gas prices and cigarette prices too.
TV/ADS etc probably made it seem like you not thinking its big deal is not normal - but you are normal :)
