Is it normal that my wife would rather give me oral than have sex?

Been married for a few years now. You can say that our marriage is pretty good. No real complaints on my end. However, I am really starting to notice that my wife ALWAYS wants to just give me head. She doesn't seem to ever want sex, nor does she seem to want oral sex in return.

My wife is 28 but she has the old school, submissive wife mentality; which to me is annoying, but I also enjoy the perks lol. Ever since I told her how much I enjoy head, that seems to be all she wants to do. She even sleeps with me in her mouth all night long throughout the week.

Other than just missing the act of having sex regularly, there is no real complaint. I truly do enjoy and appreciate all the oral action I get. I guess I am just curious to see if you all would consider this normal or not.

    Does your wife reach orgasm when you have PIV sex? People generally like to do things that feel good — although there can be psychological quirks which mean that some people feel they don't deserve sexual pleasure, and other issues which mean they avoid "normal" sex.

    My second wife was not at all interested in receiving oral sex. She was one of those women who unfortunately just couldn't get over her childhood indoctrination that her genitals were "dirty", even though she knew intellectually that this was nonsense. She enjoyed giving me head a lot, although she didn't go to the extremes of your wife.

    I'm pretty sure that your wife's oral fixation is not very common and so it's not "normal" in that sense, but I also think that doesn't matter a damn. The only thing that does matter is if both you and your wife are satisfied with the sexual side of your relationship.

      She always has an orgasm when we have sex. I pride myself if making sure she has two (at least one clitoral and one vaginal) before we are done. She apparently enjoys it based on how she moans and how her body responds.

      And yeh, you're right. She loves giving me head and having my semen in her mouth and that seems to satisfy her sexual needs. She's even had an orgasm JUST from giving me head. A strong O at that. So yeh I would definitely say both of us appear to be satisfied.

        That is impressive, and not "normal" at all, but in a very good way. It also demonstrates how important what's going on in a woman's head is to the pleasure she gets from sex.

        Like I said, don't worry about whether all this is normal. It works for her and it works for you, so just enjoy what you've got going on.

      She doesn't really. Both she and I pretty much do not toss and turn throughout the night. Occasionally her teeth MIGHT graze me a little, but its nothing major or painful.
