Is it normal that my washing machine eats socks?

Well, it's really wierd but whenever I do my washing, I always put a few pairs of socks into the machine but when I pull everythiing out again I always end up with loads of odd socks! It's as if the machine swallows them up! I'm always buying new socks because of it. None of my other clothes go missing! Does this ever happen to you?

  • Ahh the sock vortex. Science still hasn't figured out why.

There's a really easy way of fixing this; When you buy socks just buy lots of the same rather than pairs.

Socks are the washing machines favourites. They seem to like dirty knickers as well. The dirtier the more likely they will be gone.

    You have been warned.

Your washer and my dryer should hook up. What's the year, make and model? Lol

what i do that usually avoids this problem, is when i start a load, i'll only add socks when i can find them both before i throw them in. Don't just throw them in randomly.
