Is it normal that my uncle says i have great-looking penis?

I'm an 18 year old guy, and last week my dad, my 47 year old uncle (dad's older brother) and I went to the gym together.
After working-out we headed to the locker room to take a shower, and I started taking my clothes off while my dad and uncle did the same beside me. I was about to take my shorts and underwear off when i realized I had a random erection, but I figured since we're all guys anyway it wouldn't be a big deal, so I just took my shorts off right in front of them. I was about to put a towel around my waist when I saw that my uncle was looking at my erection. Then my uncle says "You've got a great-looking soldier there! I guess you're definitely not a little boy anymore!" "You can hurt someone with that!" while pointing at my hard-on. Then my dad starts looking at my erection too and he says "That's my boy!" I was completely surprised at what they said and didn't know what to say, so all I said was "Thanks!" Then we went to the communal showers, the entire time I was naked and both my uncle and dad kept on telling me how they think my penis is bigger than other guys my age. Is it weird for my uncle to say this to me?
