Is it normal that my tongue is attached to my mouth like all the way?

My tongue is attached to the bottom of my mouth. And I can't touch my nose, and it is a struggle just to touch my philtrum (yes it is a word). It is not causing me pain or discomfort, but I am just wondering if it is healthy to have it like this. Or should I get it "zapped" off? Does anyone else have this?

This is called being tongue-tied. It can cause speech difficulties. My sister is a hygienist and mentioned to a guy, "Oh, you're tongue-tied." He looked stunned and asked what she meant. She explained, and he looked stunned again. He said he had a speech impediment and even his speech therapist girlfriend couldn't figure it out, which was a problem because he wanted to be a pastor but his speech was hard to understand. So all he needed was a simple procedure to get on with his dream. Yay. You can too. It's really minor.

It's normal! Usually, nowadays, if a baby is born with an attached tongue, the doctors can clip the bit of skin to detach it. It helps with breast feeding. Baby's with attached tongues can struggle with latching onto the nipple and suckling, leading to a hungry, cranky baby.

On a completely different spectrum, not sure if you're a boy/girl or your sexual preference, my boyfriend has an attached tongue and the times he has eaten me out, his tongue was very sore (during and afterwords) due to it's limited range of motion.

    Those were my unnecessary feedback.
