Is it normal that my toe nail turned bluish black?

I was playing laser tag and this person stepped on my toe really hard. My toe hurt for a couple days and my toe nail was blue. Now it is bluish black. Should I be worried? Should I get it checked out by a doctor?

    Sounds like there may have been some bleeding underneath the nail. You need to go see a doctor.

    I ripped my toenail off by accident once when I was in middle school. Excruciating pain, but it eventually grew back of course. Maybe you should do that and just start over with a new one haha!

    Its probably just a bruise but i'd go to the doctor and get it checked so it doesnt get infected or anything :)

    It's a bruise. My dad has one from too small shoes. It will last a while sorry

    If it's not broken, just wait a while, it will be back to normal. If it is, go see a doctor.
