Is it normal that my testicles are hard and not very sensitive?

Okay, so basically they feel really, really firm and have withstood fairly strong hits without causing me anything more than short-lived moderate localised pain. I can squeeze either one pretty hard before it starts to hurt at all.

And yes, they've been like that for a while (at least 12 years).
