Is it normal that my teeth itch?

I just got back from playing basketball with my brother and friends. As i sat down and got on my lap top my teeth started itching... i don't know exactly if it's itching,throbbing,or the just hurt, i have all my grown up teeth in, it's freaking me out.
Is this Normal...

      it's weird, it was only itching for a couple of hours

        Its just occurred to me that it could be a problem with the root of your teeth or a nerve. Just to play it safe, I still think you should see a dentist if you can.
