Is it normal that my straight friend is only "gay" with me?

I am a 18-year-old lesbian in a girl-only group of 7 people with three (myself included) queer girls (the other two are bi). The other 4 are fully accepting, even though it took a while and we only grew close recently. One of them started getting touchy-feely with me when drunk, and now it's routine to hold hands, hug all the time (she says she loves hugging ME) and I kind of notice her expression while looking at me is different (confused, I don't really know). I really feel like kissing her, but I know she's straight... Is it normal that she's like that even though she's not attracted to girls?

OK, for a 'queer' girl you are very limited in your understanding of sexuality!

If somebody is attracted to someone of 'both' genders, they are bi. So if your friend is attracted to you, she isn't straight.

If you think she's straight, she isn't attracted to you.

You might be her first female interest...or the only female she's ever found who she's interested in, but if she IS interested in you, she isn't straight.

Straight person + same gender attraction =/= gay with you and straight elsewhere!

So however she feels...yes...it's normal. I don't even understand why you'd have to ask.

Talk to HER. Ask her if she's interested in you that way.

You are a girl, and she is attracted to you, ergo...
