Is it normal that my skin itches when i get too cold?

Whenever I get too cold, like if I'm outside in the winter without a proper coat, my skin starts itching, Its usually on my back and my arms, but sometimes my thighs itch as well. Also, whenever I get too cold, these marks appear on the underside of my left wrist. They're always the same, almost as if the cold makes them visible. Is this normal?

  • It might be your skin drying out; cold weather sucks the water out of us. Try using some baby oil (it comes unscented if you don't like the original smell) right after you get out of a shower. If you use it while you're still in the shower, after you've washed, use a tub mat - otherwise you might slip and crack your noggin.

I think it is because your skin is more sensitive when it is cold. I always find that I have itchy hands when I am cold.
