Is it normal that my skin is always dry?

I don't put on lotion everyday, but I'm trying to now. Even when i put lotion, i see little white lines on my leg. It's annoying because no matter how much lotion i use, it won't go away. same thing with my hands except i have ezxema so my hands are wrinkly and cracked. Will these white lines go away, or is it permanent due to neglectance?

I have this too.. and it's really annoying.
Try to shower short and not too hot, and try finish the shower with cold water that's good for your skin.
I drink tons of water myself every day and still have dry skin constantly, but you could always try drinking water ONLY because it hydrates your skin.
But do you have it on your whole body?
Because I have it on my back, chest, neck, face and hands, but no other places.
If you somehow find a good way to treat it let me know please :)

Actually, i used a scrub on my hands, and put lotion on it. It took most of the flakes off and i use lotion every time i wash my hands or do dishes. It looks like it's working.

I don't drink soda or coffee or juice and i try to drink 2 liters of water a day. I think it's because i scrub my skin with a wash glove.

Some of it will be due to your genes which there's nothing you can do to change.

Your diet can also play a big role. Do you eat enough fresh fruit and vegetables? Do you drink enough water? If most of the water you get if from coffee or cola these are both high in caffeine which as a diuretic makes you dehydrate.

Maybe look at changing the branch of lotion you use if it doesn't seem to be working for you. Hot showers aren't good for your skin either.
