Is it normal that my sister and i are really open with each other now?

My sister who is 17 got into a car accident and somehow broke both of her arms. I know it is sort of funny. Because of that both arms were in casts and she pretty much needed help with most things until she got them off.

I'm 17 and her older brother (we're twins) and it is just me and her and our parents. Obviously becuase of her accident, the doctor told us that someone is going to have to help her do everything from eating, getting ready for school and anything else you can imagine. As you can imagine, I was chosen to help her do EVERYTHING. I didn't mind at first because I do love my sister and we are very tight knit but some of the stuff I had to do wasn't exactly what you would want to do with/for your sister.

FOr instance, I had to help her shower and change her. I literally had to wash her in the shower and then dress her after for school and whatnot. Essentially I saw my sister naked many, many times and even had to put on her panties and bra and everything else.

It wasn't a great experience but it is over now. We did definitely become closer than I ever could have thought and because of that she is really open with me in terms of not only talking more and more about sensitive topics but also her body. Obviously, before we were like most normal siblings who didn't see each other more naked than bathing suits but now she walks naked around me all the time as long as our parents aren't home. Now I do the same because she didn't care when I had to wash her and stuff so why should I?

So is this normal? She did go through a lot and that has definitely changed our perspective on things.

    Wow, what an experience. You are a good brother. Actually, you are a good person. You will always be close to your sister, even more than just being twins.

    Nudity and helping some one with their needs is not weird or strange. So, you saw her naked; so, you washed her boobs; so, you put on and took off her clothes. I don't see anything wrong here.

    I think its kind of weird. Ok think about it! There's a reason why you don't do it in front of your parents you both know there is something "off" about it. I can understand why you guys got closer but being naked in front of each other is too much closeness! Granted your parents shouldn't have let you get that close, you mom should have taken care of those times of showering and changing her. Put some limits, before it gets weirder.

    I can see no reason why either of you would be naked around the other, now. Not that I believe there is anything wrong with being naked or the human body, but I just don't see why you would do it with your sister.
    Helping her as you did was very noble and a wonderful thing, but it's time to get things back on a more normal footing before something that shouldn't happen does.
