Is it normal that my scab had roots?

I got a bump above my eyebrow last week and I figured it was a pimple and I tried to pop it, but nothing came out just some clear liquid. It scabbed over from me trying to pop it. Today I was scratching the area and I ended up ripping the scab off. When I looked at the scab it had two whitish/clearish roots. They were hard and stiff. I tried to google it, but had no luck. Is this normal?

I had something like that sticking out of a piercing once, and pulled it off. It was a nerve ending xD

But you probably just popped the pimple too early. I've gotten those too

That was the dried up repair cells that would have joined up with your existing skin cells to repair the cut but you picked the scab, which will delay the process of repairing the cut.
