Is it normal that my pregnant sister complains so much?

ok. i hate to sound mean or unsympathetic but my sister is driving me nuts!! she's pregnant and everyday it's constant whining about how terrible she feels. "i'm sick, i'm tired, i'm fat." maybe it's just me but i'm finding it really hard to deal with this considering this is something she wanted, she chose this for fucks sake! i'm not saying she doesn't have a right to vent but it really is CONSTANT. this is her first baby so i'm trying to be understanding but she never stops! we've always been really close but honestly she doesn't even seem like the same person at this point! ugh!

I've noticed that some women love the attention that pregnancy brings more than the fact that they are pregnant.

I'm glad you made that comment a long the lines of pregnant women loving attention because I think like that, too. Well sorry I aint giving them any attention. When I was pregnant the world did not stop or revolve around me x

No offense, but she sounds like an immature pregnant teenager.

To husbands with children or mothers who are completely honest, I mean no harm when I ask this: Is pregnancy like 9 months worth of PMS active in the body of a pregnant woman?

All pregnancies and women are different. It really depends on whether or not they act like dying swans. In the Third World women often give birth in the fields and carry on back at work. Here we expect to be pampered and pitied.

I never even told anyone (except my husband) that I was pregnant until I was 5.5 months - and only then coz my father in law was dying. I couldn't see why anyone else would be interested. But apart from morning sickness at 4 months when I ate a piece of dry toast in the morning to combat it, I was fine up until the end. No big deal!

I only had one child though - as I'm sure the moaning Minnie will, if it's so bloody bad for her.

I hated being pregnant! I always thought I'd love every minute of it as it was a very planned pregnancy. People always talk about post natal depression, but if there's such a thing as a anti-natal depression then I had it.

Is this her 1st baby? if so she wont know what to do or what her body is telling her.

I suggest you help her, yout ry doing it for 9 months and lets see how long it would take for you to moan.

Some woman have diffecault pregnancies and will need support, so be a good bro and help her, rub her back, or body massage, try and relax her cos if you do she will enjoy her preganancy better and you wont feel like you are

for one i am a woman. two. i like most other ladies have heard horror stories about being pregnant, which is one of the many reasons i will never have children. i do understanbd that it can be very difficult by if its that bad is it really worth it??? to me no. as much as shes complaining i question whether it's still seems worth it to her. all i'm saying is that if i wanted children that badly i would suck it up, make the best of it, and just be happy that i'm going to be a parent. it's a choice she made.

pregnancy can be very hard it can make you ache like you have done a day labour and make you so tired like you havent slept for days and then you have back pain that can make you limp and pains in your groin from the baby pulling you can get headaches and hot and you get breasts that burn and all that gets amplified with the first pregnancy in general she will be one giant ache so of course she is moaning have a little sympathy

this is her first baby so she's not familiar with pregnancy. it was something she wanted at first, but that's because she probably thought pregnancy wasn't going to be all that bad. she's learning different now, and that's most likely why she's acting like that.
that just goes to show, not to look so much forward to it being easy.
