how old are you? if you're just getting it, it's normal because when you first get it your cycle is all outta' wack
for a bit, but if you've had it for a while, you might be pregnant
It's been a little over three months, and I'm still waiting on mine. Although I'm not sexually active, I have an average of two cycles per year. When they come, they are very heavy (two overnights at once won't always protect against it) and last from two to six weeks.
Your irregularity may be common, or it may not. The causes for such are both numerous and various. As for me, I'll have to say Normal in the sense that we both share this issue.
Oh and by me putting CAPITALS was in no way me being a smart arse, was just trying to be helpful. Really hope your ok :)
How old are you? Have you been sexually active a month (give or take) since your period first stopped? These are things that would be helpful in knowing to answer you correctly. However you didn't mention them and by the why your asking if you should have them every month I'm assuming you are very young. YES PERIODS HAPPEN ONCE A MONTH. They can last anywhere from between 1day till 5 days or more(everyones different) You may be pregnant, you may have something wrong with you, you really need to see a doctor. In the beginning of first getting your period they may be irregular, you may get them the first time and then not have them again for a few months or even longer. Strange and I don't know why but it can happen. If in doubt get checked out
I would ask a doctor and not strangers on the Internet.
it could be uterine cancer for all we know.
