Is it normal that my nose clears up when i stand up?

Whenever my allergies start acting up an I start sneezing a shitload my nose gets blocked up. When I lay down my nose is its worse. But when I stand up it all clears. Same with just sitting down. This us very annoying because when I get to the tissues, there's nothing to empty out. Sorry for any typos as it's is pretty difficult to type on my iPod :P

    It's called air pressure, same as when you get on a plane and it takes off, instead of your ears popping, it's your nose clearing.
