Is it normal that my nose brings me down?

Hello everyone. I'm a female and I'm still a teenager. My nose is my biggest insecurity and it brings me down so much. I know looks aren't important and all but my nose just makes me feel so bad. It has a bump on it when you are viewing it from the side. It makes me so self conscious that I can't even go out in public. I always think people are staring at my nose and thinking about how huge it is. From the front it isn't that bad, it's just from the side. So, I was wondering, do any of you have this & is this normal?

You're stressing over this now, then you realize people don't give a fuck about your nose.

I used to be extremely insecure about my nose. I got made fun of a lot. But you have to realize that you're personality is what makes you attractive more than anything. As soon as I started becoming more confident I noticed more people were attracted to me. You have to love yourself, even if it's hard to accept some things about yourself. I've realized that if you embrace something about yourself, other people will accept it. Also I believe that certain feature, like big noses, that have bumps or waterer, actually define peoples faces. Now, I actually really like my nose, it makes me unique and stand out.

If someone doesn't like you because of your nose, they're not the kind of person you want in your life anyway.

I totally agree with ImListening. Embrace yourself. People probably aren't even looking at your nose, and if they are then to hell with them. Some people say that as you get older, you come to accept yourself, which is a wonderful thing. By the way, it's totally normal. I think a lot of us get that feeling that people are zoning in on what we perceive to be our flaws. We just have to muster up some confidence and feel great about ourselves. Easier said than done I know, but it's doable, and it feels great once you manage to do it.

Insecurities are very common. Get over your nose (There are more than likely people who look a lot worse) and focus on bettering yourself in ways you can control.
