Is it normal that my nipples look like tastebuds?

So I never thought much of it. I always assumed that's what nipples looked like until I was reading an article that said nipples were smooth. Mine look like little bundles of tastebuds that will separate into little clumps and sometimes bits of fluff get stuck in between. So I looked it up and most of the women saying they had similar issues were women who were pregnant or had children and I have never been and am currently not pregnant. I have never even had sex. So...is it normal?

    I was concerned about the same thing and asked a lady doctor to examine me. She took one look and said "it's normal".
