    If the daughter doesn't seem distressed by it, it's fine. Many children have a dark sense of humour anyway.

    I've known military parents who taught their kids to sing this song, which they sing to the "Jesus Loves the Little Children" tune:

    Hiya,

    My dad loves folk & blues– that meant I heard lots of songs about blood pouring out & people dying, etc. & the nastier they were the more I begged for them to be played.

    I'm fine.

      I watched my stepdad play grand theft auto when I was little all day. What do you have to say about that? I could read almost anything I wanted too.

    I remember being six and all of my classmate used to sing the parody of "Whoomp! There it is" like "Whoomp! Barney dead" and me being the big Barney fan that I was at the time, it was very offensive to me.
